Sergio Valenzuela born in 1978 in Santiago, Chile. Has a degree in Fine arts and Stage design (2005). He enrolled the Art&Science MA degree program for 2013 - 14 at University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He has taken part in dance contemporary and playwright workshops from 2003 - 2010. He organised ACT0 -transdisciplinary gathering for artists and theorists (2009 - 2011). Producer and director of FIDET -Performing arts and transdiscipline international Festival 2012.

Licenciado en Artes y Diseñador Teatral Profesional de la U. De Chile. Director, coreógrafo, dramaturgo y perfomer. Estudios de danza desde el 2003 (en Chile y Argentina) y dramaturgia (Marco A. de la Parra y Benjamín Galemiri en el CCE). Diseñador del stand Chile en PQ’03, Praga. Ganador del Concurso Nacional de dramaturgia 2005. Organizador desde el 2009 del encuentro transdisciplinario ACT0, con 4 versiones y director del Festival FIDET, Festival Internacional de artes escénicas y transdisciplina a realizado en abril 2012 - Proyecto Iberescena 2011. Ha publicado artículos como “El sentido de lo inútil”, “AACT, hacia un arte de acción transdisciplinar” , "Detalles de un exhibicionismo" , "Efecto - afecto, presentacion de un modelo de análisis critico del arte de acción" y "Ciencia y Ficción" . Ha realizado clases de espacio escénico, composición, guión, dramaturgia y escenografía desde el 2002 (U. de Chile, programas del CNCA, UNIACC, U. MAYOR y Arcos). Actualmente docente de la Escuela de Danza de la U. Mayory de la Escuela de diseño de UNIACC. Estudia el Magister en arte y ciencia de la Universidad de Artes aplicadas de Viena, beca Conicyt.
